1.Can I use Carbonnique roller if I have acne or breakouts?

Carbonnique roller can be used on an acne prone skin but if you are currently experiencing bumps that are tender and inflamed, and look swollen and pink use your roller for no more than 3-5 minutes. Don’t press aggressively  and glide smoothly over the skin. Avoid inflamed areas.If you are using topical treatment for acne ( especially retinoids) use your roller before you put the medication to avoid risk of irritation.

2. Can I use Carbonnique roller if I have Rosacea and/or redness or eczma?

If you suffer from rosacea and eczema consult your medical professional before using Carbonnique roller. Rolling your skin can increase blood circulation on your face increasing redness temporarily.

3.Can I use Carbonnique roller if I have dry skin?

Yes. You can If you have a dry skin, always apply a cream or serum before using a Carbonnique roller for added penetration and absorption into the skin.Start your face massage procedures twice or three times a week to make sure that your delicate and sensitive skin tolerates it well.

4.Can I use Carbonnique roller if my skin is sensitive or reactive?

Carbonnique is made of technical ceramics called Alumina (Al2o3). Alumina is widely used in medical devices, dental ceramics and other bioimplantable devices in orthopedics. Numerous studies have confirmed excellent biocompatible properties of Alumina Ceramics. Biocompatibility means that the material is compatible with human body and is non toxic and does not irritate or sensitize intact skin. Since we all have a unique skin please test it first on small patch of your skin to make sure it is right for you. 

5.My skin becomes red after using the roller. Is this normal?

Yes.Rolling your skin can increase blood circulation on your face increasing redness temporarily. Increased blood circulation brings more oxygen into the tissue resulting in brighter and healthier skin.

6.Does Carbonnique roller help with puffiness and dark circles?

Carbonnique roller may help with puffiness by pushing extra fluid towards the lymph nodes.Face massage can help that lymph fluid drain into the proper channels and away from around your eyes and certain areas where it tends to settle.

7.How often should I use my roller?

Roller is safe to use everyday if you don't have any skin conditions. If you have normal skin we recommend to start every other day and with time make it an everyday routine. Roll your face for 3-8 minutes after washing your face.

For sensitive skin types- try to start twice a week until skin gets used to it. To achieve best results try to use our roller with your favorite moisturizer, serum or oil.

If you have any severe dermatological problems consult your medical professional before using Carbonnique roller.

8.Can I use my roller over my make-up

Rolling your skin helps with better absorption of your skin care products but we don’t recommend to use your roller over your make up. You might simply roll in dirt deeper into your skin and this may be an easy way for a secondary bacterial or viral infections. Always keep your roller clean and your roller after washing your face. 

9. Can I use Carbonnique roller if I had botox or other esthetic medicine procedures?

Always ask your doctor or esthetician if there are no counter indications to use facial roller after your cosmetic dermatology procedures.You should not use rollers if you have used fillers to avoid risk of material shifting. After botox injection you should wait around 3 weeks. If you had la laser therapy (e.g fractional laser)- wait for the treated areas to heal completely.

11. Does Carbonnique roller work anti-wrinkle?

The science behind massage working anti wrinkle is really interesting. Releasing muscle tension in our jawline or brows does work anti aging because wrinkles are forming when we furrow our brow or clench our teeth ( that gives us an angry look). Massage speeds up circulation and brings more oxygen to the tissue resulting in brighter and healthier skin. Face rolling can temporarily smooth wrinkles and can be used in anti wrinkle prevention.
